Eurovision Union’s Weekly Playlist (12/52)

Each week, Eurovision Union will be bringing you a specially curated playlist featuring songs recently released by Eurovision or National Final artists, and a few of our old favourites. This week, we’ve got a mixed bag of songs, including national final and Eurovision songs from past and present, as well as other releases from national final and Eurovision stars.

Listen to the playlist below:

Starting with Slovenia today, where we’ve got a song titled Living Again by the duo Maraaya, who were featured in our Best of the Bunch with their Eurovision song Here For You. Leading that Best of the Bunch poll so far is Maja Keuc, so we’ve featured her Eurovision song No One, which is still a jam even to this day.

This week we’ve featured some of the newest Eurovision 2017 releases, including Dihaj from Azerbaijan with the song Skeletons, as well as Slavko with the song Space, which we recently reviewed. In addition, we’ve also got Israel’s entry called I Feel Alive and performed by two-time backing singer and now lead artist Imri Ziv.

From former Eurovision artists, we’ve got Farid Mammadov with the Turkish language version of his Eurovision song Hold Me. Also from the Eastern side of Europe, we’ve got fan favourite Sergey Lazarev with the DJ Misha Gold Radio remix of Idealniy Mir. Another successful former Russian Eurovision participant Polina Gagarina also made the playlist this week with a song off her album titled 9.

From down under, we’ve got Guy Sebastian with a song off his latest project, with the song titled Mind on You. From Switzerland, we’ve got 2016 representative Rykka with her song Bad Boy, the Kinbell remix. From Pollapönk, the 2014 Icelandic participants, we’ve got Hjálparsveit Skápa, which may be hard to spell, but it’s easy to listen to! From Francesca Michielin, we have one of her follow up singles from her 2016 album di20are called Un Cuore in Due. Lastly, from Ireland, we’ve got Jedward, the dynamic duo with their most recent release titled Oxygen as well as Ryan Dolan with one of his follow up singles after Eurovision called Start Again.

From recent national finals, we’ve featured #háttérzaj, which was one of the competing songs in the Hungarian national final, A Dal. We’ve also got A Million Years, which was this year’s bid from Mariette in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen. From Norway, we’ve got First Step In Faith which sent its performers Elin & The Woods into the Gold Final in the national final, although lost out to the winners JOWST.

From former national finals and former national final artists, we’ve got Sugar Mommy performed by former Norwegian national finalists Hungry Hearts. From Malta, we’ve got Pin the Middle by the artist De Bee, and lastly (but definitely not least), from former Finnish national finalist Stig, we’ve got his newest single Ai Ai Ai.
